"Teenager at the nationals"

Hi guys

I myself am already entered for the Nationals in Saundersfoot which is also a family holiday for my wife and two sons, but here comes the "Teenage Bit" the eldest, some of you may be aware sails, and is trying to get enough money together for a sprint 15.

Unfortunately he will not have the funds to buy a boat for the event even if one becomes available, he is taking this on the chin and wishes me well from his potential view from the beach.

So this is a parents SOS (Save our Saundersfoot) to any one out there who could help.

thanks  :?

Hi Steve,
I guess you must have lost the debate with the Finance Manager. Did you see #1405 has recently been put on the For Sale page for £1500? Selling on the trailer could result in getting a boat for £1250 or less if he will take an offer.
Just a thought.
Regards
bob

Buy it!!! Increase the youth fleet and it will be much better for competition and for the class as well.

Hi Steve,

 No, I'm not lending my boat as I still hope to get the all clear to sail at the Nationals.

:) But I just wanted to say how impressed I am that you are (still) actively pursuing a Sprint 15 on behalf of your son - who sailed so well at Seasalter........ :)

:) And I agree with Robin that the fleet needs (lots of) keen young sailors to keep it going... :)
