Roller Reefing Line

I need to replace the roller reefing line on the jib. Can anyone confirm the optimum length for the line,as unfortunately I am 120 miles away from the boat right now?.
My boat's outside the house, but I'm not sure where the reefing line is at present.
As it won't be expensive just buy plenty, say 4m of the smallest line that you know will fit your cleat.
