Stewartby on Saturday

Many thanks to Stewartby for setting up a very enjoyable event - even with the light winds I had a great day, and for once made a couple of setup changes that seemed to help me move up the fleet rather than down.
Only sorry not to have seen more of the QM fleet now that we can finally get our boats out again!
I think Gordon's on holiday, and I hope George's shoulder isn't playing him up. Stewart where were you?!
All the best, and thanks again.
Alex.

It was a great day and I'm enjoying the liquid refreshment.

Regrets for Missing Stewartby from QM

Gordon was working, Stewart had a family & friends occasion, and I was ill.

Of the 3 of us, I think I am most regretful about not attending - the conditions seemed just right for me to successfully defend last year's win!

Nah! Don't think so George - it was pretty much like Carsington 2006.

Cool.

Been having one of those weeks at work where things just don't seem to be behaving, pesky BBC updating their websites backend technology. So I thought I try and get a distraction whilst I changed tacks with the problem, all sorted now though (I hope), just as well as 20,000 odd irate staff and students outside my office door was getting to be a real possibility

Hi Martin,
No pressure then.
I'm still waiting for the report but I'll send you the chart of results anyway. I have loaded the Stewartby pictures but they missed the Stewartby folder & ended op as loose pictures in the 2007 folder. Can you move them, please? I cannot work out how to do that.
Thanks
Bob

Job done, interesting that no obvious root to move images from one location to another within the software. In the end I moved them on the server directly.

(Almost got my next stripe!)

I have just read the Stewartby winter TT report. I notice the positions for the second race are identical to the first race. Has this ever happened before?

The results are not in race order but in Fleet and then Handicap position, so in this case everyone was in 916 format so the two should marry up exactly.

Sorry, my fault: I didn't look at the heading of each column!
