The new magazine editor, George Love, rules the class with a rod of iron!!!
Just a word to say that George has got the class under such tight control that he has got all contributions for the next magazine in ON TIME. This even includes our class chairman, Nick Dewhirst, who is renown for his lateness. I'm flabberghasted. Other contributors including such tough nuts as Charles Watson, Howard Hawkes, Keith Heason, Tony Pratt, Phil Breeze, Golden Goldstone, Andrew Hannah, Ray Gall, and even me - and they all did their bit on time.
Well done George.
So in about 3 weeks time those of you who are members should receive the latest edition packed with lots of goodies including full details on both the National Championships.

Hi Bob,

I know that being overseas means I can't get the magazine (although Keith Bartlett kindly brought one over here for me the other day), but is it possible to send the magazine out as a PDF via email?

I run a design company over here in Hong Kong so I believe this shouldn't be a problem.

Would be great to see what's going on.

Hi Gabriel
We'll have to wait until George sees this to see if it is possible. It is a hugh file prior to PDF. Often it is a file per page and is not compiled as a single electronic document. Let's see what he says.
Another alternative would be to charge those overseas who want to see magazine a little more and post them the hard copy.
Cheers
Bob

Could these postings mean that this is the last time I receive anything on time!?
Seriously, a big thank you to all those who have contributed to the next issue which I hope to post out by early April.
To Gabriel and any other overseas members, if I have a note of your address, whether it be in Hong Kong or Hawaii, I will make sure you get a copy in the post. I think that trying to load the file even in pdf on the website would explode my computer and, anyway, I probably wouldn't know where to start. Putting an envelope in the post is very easy! And the extra cost for those who are overseas is pretty marginal in the scale of things. We can't let you guys worldwide miss out.
I was going to post a note of the next copy deadline but, on reflection, perhaps I'll leave that for sometime later!
Happy Easter to all the readers! - and keep the stories coming.
