Hey - I am in receipt of the first entry for the Nationals at Thorpe Bay and guess what? It is not Erling. So Erling will be deprived of tally number 1 this year.

Any guesses who it is?

Cheers

My vicar says, "The nearer to church you live, the greater likelihood of your being late for services!"

I bet it's the fellow from Hong Kong!

I thought I would add a clue a day - as long as the entrant does not let on first! It has got to be better than talking about caravans!!!!!

So today's clue - the entrant lives in the UK North of Shanklin and it is NOT Frank.

I reckon it's Nick Dewhirst. It defies all logic, because he's normally late for everything!

Nick is a real outside chance. I hope Bob gives me 100:1.

No Andrew,
That would as you say be highly unlikely - we are usually chasing Nick to the last to enter, so it is not him.

Today's clue - the boat in question has had some Steve Sawford work (in common with quite a few others) :!:

Oh heck - you are a fine judge of character, Erling. It is indeed Charles (Watson). So I guess it is back to the caravans!!!! :(

PS I had some good cryptic clues coming up too.

Perhaps we should start a book on who will get tally number 2?

Anything is better than caravans!

Hands up, those who have ever owned a caravan. :D

I had one about 1990. It was a static caravan and it was a bit like Pete Richardson's bus, but without an engine. The only journey it ever made, was to the scrap heap.

Come on, you chaps. Can you ever admit to owning a caravan?
