I have just joined the Grafham Water Sailing Club and I am looking to buy my first Dart 15.
If you have one for sale ( preferably in club or near club) or you have one that you do not use much and want to sell a half share please contact me.
My budget is £1500-2000 (top whack!).
This might be a silly question, but have you looked at the buy & sell page on this site? There are a few in your price range & 1 at Grafham for £2200 - worth considering as it's waiting for you to test sail it.
eBay has them on occasionally & one or 2 other dinghy / cat sites, try Googling.

This string seems to be a very old one Andrew has started again, if you look at the date and in the boats for sale mouatt seems to be selling a Sprint now

Yes quite right. John bought a boat in August last year and now seems to be selling it.
I am trying to find out why. Hopefully it is nothing we have done - or not done.
Cheers

At the moment, I have three people considering a purchase, and I think we will see some activity once the weather warms up.
Keep up the good work Andrew. At this rate you will be the biggest fleet in the Country. I think that the Grafham fleet is 41 at present, so that is your target.
Cheers

PS Carsington seem to be doing very well also. I think the dynamic duo of Ray Gall & George Love might have something to do with it.
Hi Andrew, Good to hear Roger’s in a 15, Richard Whitelock & I sat with him, his wife & son Chris at the Thorpe Bay Nationals dinner. As I remember Roger gave a good account of himself on the water, steadily improving as the week went on, no mean feat when you consider he was using a sail that looked as if it was past its sell by date.
I don’t quite remember how much beer was downed that evening, but it seems a wee bit odd that Roger’s bought himself a Sprint 15 & Rich & I ended up buying a Hurricane !!!!
Ha Ha, Frank! I think committed cat sailors never really leave a class. If they move into another cat class, they regret leaving the one behind. This explains why many cat sailors will have a second boat. In your case a Hurricane.
Could you really part with your Sprint? The friends you've made over the years, will be with you forever.
