Has anyone ever painted a mast ?????????

I put fablon on mine which was a smarties pattern, but that's just a bit of fun.

If you have a black mast my father had the same problem (on his Leisure 29) as happens with most black anodised masts in that they fade.

He spray painted his mast with Plasticote matt black stove enamel, ten years on & it looks as good as the day he did it.

If you have a silver mast, why would you want to paint it?

I remember the the smarties, but the problem is the anodizing is starting to wear quite badly in places, and just thought it might be a method of prolonging life.

So is your mast black or silver?
