3 x downhaul

What's the current view on the 3 x downhaul. Does it make a real difference ??

Two main differences (improvements):
1. Easier & quicker to apply and remove downhaul
2. If you have a long enough piece of string (and shock cord) you can do all the downhaul activities from the comfort of the rear beam.
Other than forking out for some bits, it's a no brainer really!!
