GoPro Time

I finally took my GoPro camera sailing on Sunday afternoon, and managed to edit some highlights last night.

I mounted it behind the main beam using a combination of 21mm drainage pipe, insulation tape and rope. Jen generously described it as "a bit Heath Robinson". Thankfully it all held together (I was keeping a close eye on it) and the camera made it back to shore.

James Cameron won't be quaking in his boots, but it was fun in the making: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... kQx6DNst_w

There is a small but growing selection of Sprint 15 videos on You Tube. Perhaps we could start a thread (sticky or otherwise) for 15 sailors to post links to clips they have uploaded. Or perhaps I'm just being bore with a new toy

P.S. I suspect most people have already seen it, but this Spitfire class video from a few years back always makes me smile too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... Vk73jLGaww

Do you have any pics of how the camera was mounted on Darren's Cat?
