Draycote Dash 21/22 November

The Draycote Dash is the first of this year's Sailjuice Winter Series and is open to Sprint 15s.
It is on the weekend of 21/22 November and I see that one Sprint 15 has entered so far.

Fantastic - well done.
If the wind is sailable you could do well.
It looks like Saturday will be honking - may be marginal if they can run it. Let's hope they can.

It certainly was, at least in the morning! A very cold on-shore Northerly made it seem even worse.
Some of us, including yours truly, wimped out.
However, Jan Elfring gave it a go closely followed by Ed Dalton and Derek James. From shoreside, they seemed to be managing the conditions well. I (almost) envied them!
Tomorrow looks to be easing, so I expect more of us will be out.

Congratulations go to Ed Tuite Dalton who took the gun in 2 races and was 15th overall in the Draycote Dash.
