Hi, I purchased 1514 in April this year. It is now being sailed regularly at Royal Varuna Yacht Club in Thailand where there has been a recent upsurge in interest in cat/multi sailing/racing. It would be nice to learn something of 1514's past, if anyone can remember?

I have a sneaking suspicion that this boat started it's life as a Laser Centre Demonstration boat. It was sailed once in our events in 1990 by Pat Fitzgerald at Seasalter S.C. in Kent. During 1991 it was owned and sailed by John Rolfe on our circuit but I do not recall his home club. Since then it has fallen out of use on our circuit, so probably used just for pleasure sailing. Did you get the certificate which might tell more?
Meanwhile enjoy sailing her.......

Hi Thanks for the info. No I don't have the cert but no matter. I am enjoying sailing it and will probably start racing next year with the other 15 and two eighteens here at RVYC. Best regards, Jim Kane
