I am hoping to arrive at Seasalter Friday early evening. Will I be Billy no mates or will others be there?

I was intending on arriving on the Friday but after your blistering attack on muesli eaters I have changed my mind.

I'd say a decent steady force 4 would be perfect but what will be will be.

Hi all,
Just back from letting Steve and Beryl R into the club ready for the weekend. Tomorrow I will return the main RIB trailer having completed some urgent welding............. As usual our club members are beavering away in the background, grass cutting, buoy painting etc etc, even the Environment Agency have excelled by cutting all the sea wall grass banks last week.
Looks like westerly 4-5 for the weekend. That means flat water with a low chop against the incoming tide for the first race each day and hopefully flat water for the second. With a westerly beat to start - for those unfamiliar with SSC that means the start will be with a following tide of 2-3 knots for the first race so beware the line ! I hate recalls !
It is the Swale regatta this weekend as well so there should be many different interesting vessels coming out of the Swale but not into our sailing area.
We look forward to seeing everyone including some new to the circuit.
Steve (RO again) Willis

Brilliant event thanks to all the many helpers from Seasalter and the competitors especially those who did the forced march to the pub. Well done to Ed who proved he knows what is a proper breakfast, nice to see Kevin can still sail a real catamaran and even Liam did ok I suppose. As did Paul G who, surprise, surprise won
