Trampoline track replacement kit

Post by Jaycb »

Hi all,
Has anyone bought one of the trampoline track replacement kits from Windsport? If so, could you confirm whether or not the rack extrusions are drilled please? In the photo on their website it doesn't look like there are any fixing holes...
Thanks.

hi, due to the small variation in hole positions over the years of manufacture the replacement track is supplied undrilled. This allows you to copy your existing hole positions across to your new track.
Hope that helps

Hi Brian,
Thanks for your reply.
How exactly is the copying done please? It would be very easy to ruin an expensive track with the smallest inaccuracies.
Has anyone actually done this and prepared to share their method please?
Thanks.

I would suggest laying the old and new track side by side and using an engineers square or similar transfer the hole centres across to the new track.
Alternatively if the old holes in the deck have gone over size , ie bigger than 5mm , seal those holes and make holes in a new position on the track and use that hole as a guide to drill the hole in the deck for fixing.
Hope that helps.
