South Island sailing

[Thanks to the Shanklin Fleet for letting me join your racing today. We certainly had variable conditions! Thanks especially to Bob Baker for lending me 1926 and Liam and Yvonne for inviting me into their home for a lovely meal, chat and some Americas Cup critical analysis!

Very true Mark, unfortunately for me Liam tacked early at the leeward Mark, sailed under me and crept away from me up the last leg. Then Keith Newman (I think) footed off and squeaked through below me to take second by a boatlength. Great racing though. I've got to say I was pretty jammy to get the lift round the first mark which gave me a few hundred yards to loose over the rest of the race lol
