Managed to damage my rudder at the week on the annual ventnor race. Damaged both the top and bottom castings but still managed to beat Erling back on one rudder.
Rang Windsport on Monday morning and spoke to a very helpful lady ( that was the first change to the Laser centre ). Although she was confident that they had the parts in stock she would get Brian to call me back and make sure. Within 30 mins Brian called me back ( that was the second difference to the Laser centre .... he actually rang me back) Discussed what I needed and also suggested he can supply the monel rivets which I had forgot about.Received the new parts on Wednesday morning. Excellant service well done Brian and the team.

Regards,

Paul.

That's the reason I keep losing all the race's every one is sailing illegal with one rudder for less drag, so its not my extra weight afterall.

I too found Brian very helpful, all I wanted was 4 red battens (for myself & club members... I hadn't had a major wipe out!) and they turned up in a protective drainpipe 2 days later.

I tried Windsport this week for some fiddly little rudder washers and got a next day delivery - well recommended!
