How is the poor old chap? Fancy having to go home early and miss all that fun sailing at Instow?
It's quite out of character.
Hope you are on the mend, old fellow.

Thats nice kick a man when he is down, even George who knows about body pains has. Well I sailed last night in a fleet of 12 and with one and a half arms managed to steal only my third win of the year, so hope to see you all at the Open Dinghy Club on the 24-25 June.

How's Erling? [George Stephen]

George Stephen replied:

Hi Erling,

Good to see that you are back into form, putting the Shanklin upstarts in their proper place!

If it's any consolation, Sunday's racing at Instow did my shoulder no good at all - there was no chance of falling asleep at the wheel on the way home! A complete waste of time trying to sail Wednesday evening (the wind dropped from a good 4 at the gun, eventually to 4{kmph} in the gusts) and some other activities during the week have aggravated it to the stage that sailing this weekend may well be singlehanded.....

George
