John Long was first [Bob]

John Long (of Grafham)is the first to get his Nationals entry form in - and he is staying for the fun events as well. The full details of the Nationals are on this website - when we get a few more entries in I hope to display those entered on this website as in previous years (Jonathan willing).
So if you have not entered yet why not beat the rush?
Cheers
Bob
PS John Long was also showing a usefull turn of speed last night in the Wednesday Evening series taking the second Sprint 15 spot. Keith Ball turned up after a lay-off of nearly a ear and was not too rusty. To prove that he is back with intent he tells me that his "cheque is in the post" for his Nationals entry too.
Bob
PS Erling - I forgot to ask him if he is any good on the dance floor - but I think he could be quite useful in a go-kart.
PPS I see that the Dart 18s got 73 entries for their 30th anniversary Nationals at Whitstable. It will be interesting to see how close we get now that we have got a convenient venu close to our fleets - but I don't think we can match the helicopters!

Keith Ball is the second to get his entry form in for the Nationals - so it is Team Grafham who is leading the way.

And, Oh Drat - I now realize that I left the bit about the go-karting off the entry form. I've just sent an updated form to Jonathan to post on the website.
In the meantime I do need to track the numbers for the Go-karting to reserve the track - so please mark up your entries with how many places you require in the Go-Kart KO competition and pay a ?10 deposit/entry.

Running scared [Bob]

Bob replied:

Well Frank seems to have returned from his holidays in France and charged off into an early lead in the Wednesday evening race, last night. At the end of the first lap he was about 100yards ahead and I was thinking of all the abuse I would suffer on these pages if he maintained that position. Well I'll leave Frank to pick up the story ..............
Cheers
Bob
PS Frank - I think that Erling is only packing 2 less!
