Dirty Hulls !! [Frank]

I noticed that when Bob's boat (1945) was upside down in Grafham Water yesterday that his hulls looked a wee bit dirty. Was it a tide mark from Carsington or do you think in was just road dirt picked up from when it was on his trailer !!

Hi Frank, do you mean upside down in the boat park? I can't believe it was upside down when sailing, as at his age he should know better.

I expect it was on the water - there's an awful lot of pictures showing Bob capsized.

Besides, when Bob capsizes next month he's hoping that everyone will then actually notice he's got a new boat....

Hey Frank,
Just goes to show how badly the old age is affecting your eyesight. I spent all Tuesday cleaning and polishing my hulls and they have seldom looked so white.
It all goes to show who your friends are. Each year I get involved with one of the ladies in Frank's life trying to sort out something original for his birthday. As it happens this year he was let out to go sailing on his (51st)birthday for the new afternoon (4pm) series at Grafham. After he struggled to keep up in the race and had to be satisfied with a minor place, I took pity on the birthday boy & suggested we went for a reach up the lake & back. Sadly when not concentrating I tipped my boat in in a gust & so Frank does an expose' based on incorrect infomation (dirty hulls). I think next year Frank's birthday treat might be more sinister!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Frank
You should of known it was your fault that Bob capsize and not his.
PS sorry I won't be at Grafham next month, but hope to see you at the winter events.

The day after one of our Sprint 15 sailors spent hours polishing his hulls we on patrol boat duty had a falling down laughing session in the bottom of the boat after watching said member trying to get onto his hull when he capsized (boy did that cost race time) - me, I'm leaving my hulls alone.
