I have just aquired an old Dart 15. Have sailed many dinghies but this is my first time in a cat. Two queries: How do you make it go well to windward? What is the best way of tacking, roll tacks etc are obviously out!

Check out the tips section of this website. Start with the Stay Tooned article. There lots of others as you get more accomplished. You might also want to sign up for one of our training sessions there is one in the South at Stewartby 26-27 April & another in the North at Filey 10-11 May.
