Dart 15 jib needed.

Post by Jaycb »

We've somehow mislaid our jib sail - have looked everywhere but just can't find it.
Does anyone know of a second-hand one for sale please?

On a happier note, I raced my Dart for the first time yesterday (minus jib) and had a great time. The boat was very easy to sail and I'm looking forward to sailing it with a bit more wind.
The only slight niggle would be the tiller extension - if you're not trapezing it's too long and un-neccessarily heavy. Do any of you regulars keep two lengths handy, depending on conditions?

Hi Jez
Yes there are 2 lengths of tiller extension. The Standard length one (1.67M tube length) is used when not trapezing. The long one (max tube length 2.4M - but generally a bit shorter) is used in Sport mode with the trapeze.

Jez

You could try Steve Sawford, he's usually doing a deal on a Sprint & can come across spare sails from time to time.

Brian may also do the same.

Also try putting a wanted add on the buy & sell page.

Glad to hear you enjoyed your race !
