Draycote SC - Sprint nationals

Post by Derek James »

I am pleased to report that 3 sailors will now be attending the sprint nationals at Instowe , Ed Tuite , Jan Elfring and myself . Thanks to the ultimate Fathers day present - a pass out for the nationals Jan will be joining us ! :D As part of our intensive training regime we went for a blast last evening in excellent 14knot winds . Due to over excitement Jan decided to T bone a fireball on the start line  Excellent prep for the nationals  The best performance of the evening came from Ed who performed the quickest capsize and righting on record . Approaching the finish linen Ed was flattened by a gust and cleated main sheet  I was about 50yds behind him yet he still managed to right his boat ( I estimate in about 60secs) , finish the race and beat me by 1/2 a boat length :!: Looking forward to Instowe , is there a list of attendee's :?:

Hi Derek,

Goto the events page on the website, link below:

http://www.sprint15.com/events/EMS/event.php?id=26

Click the link that says "check your Entry has been received here" and you'll get a list of people who have entered and have been added to the system.

Also there are still FREE ACCOMODATION SLOTS available.

Hi All
I suspect that the link is not up to date as Keith says that over 30 have entered yet there are only 23 listed.
If Draycote are that good, I suspect that Brian Phipps will be quaking in his boots after 2006.
Cheers
Bob
