Keith Ball on the run?

Post by Bob Carter »

When at Grafham yesterday poor Keith Ball has an upset tummy and is losing weight fast. :(
He is currently looking a bit light but he needs to be over 90KG to be able to defend his heavyweight crown. Will he make the weight limit? I reckon that Frank Sandells needs to give him some eating advice for the next few days.
Cheers
Bob

Actually Bob, I have found Frank very helpful. He gives plenty of advice.

I remember standing at the bar with an empty glass. I was already scuppers awash, but he gave advice that I found so profound that I was quickly restored to sobriety.

He said "You should never drink from an empty glass....it's bad for your health". So he very kindly bought me another pint! I don't remember the following day.

While we're on the subject, any interesting ales on tap in the club bar?

Yes Frank. The range of beers at Thorpe Bay is as good as you will see at any club.

Generally, we have three traditional beers on offer. At the moment it is Flowers IPA at £2-05 per pint. The guest beers are London Pride and Greene King, but these often change for other brands eg Adnams. Once we had Dog's Bollocks, presumably named after a famous Dart 15!

Bob,

Does that mean we'll need a set of bathroom scales to have a weigh in like in boxing ( :D )? Just kidding.

I should be Ok no last minute trip to the chippy for me  I was a trim 14st 13lbs this morning with no brekkies.

Also I see Frank isn't joining us in the heavyweight fleet has something gone wrong there? :D
