Round Sheppey Race

So after Kevin Dutch won it last year no Sprint 15s did the Round Sheppey race this year, but chairman, Nick, was 8th in his F18. :P

Interesting comparison between PY and SCHRS. I was sailing a Dart 18 and beat Chairman Nick on his Nacra on SCHRS but he beat me on PY!!!
IF any 15s had been present I feel they would have suffered in the lumpy chop in force 2-3 on the first 10 mile beat against the tide as we did in the 18s! Conditions and wind improved after that though and it was very pleasant (although nick had a disagreement with the shore when negiotiating the bridge!)

Now that the Tornado is out of the olympics it is still good to see that a Tornado sport has smashed the Isle of Sheppy race record by 19 minutes!!!
