Sprint 15 Nationals Pentewan

Post by Brian Phipps »

To all Sprint 15 sailors attending the Sprint 15 Nationals at Pentewan.
The Windsport support team will be attending the nationals for the three race days, with a comprehensive spares support trailer, on site workshop and technical support person. The Sprint 15 nationals over lap with the Dart 18 nationals requiring Windsport to split its support and technical experties across both fleets
To ensure Windsport can supply you with any replacement part you wish to collect during the nationals we suggest sailors pre-order on the catparts website www.catparts.windsport.co.uk . Parts ordered before the 18th August will be pre packed and delivered to Pentewan for collection on the Sunday morning from 8.30am. In the shipping section please select you will be COLLECTING the items when ordering on line and add in the additional information box "collection at the Sprint 15 nationals".
We look forward to a great few days, a number of the Windsport team will supporting the event, Brian Phipps, Ian Fraser and others from the team. We look forward to seeing old and new faces at the event.
Any technical question please call the Windsport team 01326 376191
Thx

Good weather forecast

Post by Mike_Ward »

The forecast for the Nationals is great with a southerly f4 and some swell for Sunday switching to the west F4 with flat seas for the remainder of the regatta. The rest of the week looks good to so we can get some good cruising done. If the forecast is right you will have a great event. Tommorrow we erect the marquee extension to the clubhouse to cater for the dinner. Remember if you need spares Tom Phipps will be on site and for clothing you can claim a club discount at Ocean Sports. Some may have heard of an algea problem in the sea. The sea is a bit tea coloured but there is no danger to people, all the fish have moved out though!
