The latest edition of the mag. will be in the post tomorrow. Allowing for the dodgy post and 2nd class postage, you should receive your copy shortly. If this is not the case, please let me know, so I can sort it out.
If you have recently joined or renewed your membership, there may be a slight delay whilst Keith catches up with the paperwork, whence there will be a further issue.
A big thanks to all those who have contributed to this issue.
I would be delighted to receive new articles for the Spring 2010 edition which is already in the first planning stages. If anyone has any ideas for future articles I would also be very pleased to hear from you so the content can represent what you would like to see.

Thanks to the pony express I am avidly reading latest edition of Newsprint, once again George congratulations on yet another magnificent insatiable read I can only imagine the hours spent late into the evenings collating / editing to generate such a splendid magazine, you deserve several wee drams and a jolly good rest.

What a splendid issue! Well done George, for putting it together.

Fortunately, Nick wrote an article we could understand for once. Sis must have hidden his snuff, or whatever he's on!

It has been difficult to keep up with Kyle. And not just on the water. My profile on him is hopelessly out of date. He just keeps winning in whatever he sails. He was the winning crew in the Nacra 20 nationals. I suppose he was disappointed with his second place, also as crew, in the Spitfire nationals.

Phipps Tips are compulsive reading, as usual. I have to admit I had never heard of a thrust pad.

Keith Bartlett's report on the AGM, showed that he was either the only person at the meeting who understood anything. Or that he was the only person present, who was sober. Perhaps, he just made it up.

I know it is difficult to make a championship report interesting. But Keith Newnham of Shanklin excelled. I'd say his report is one of the best ever written.

The last edition of the magazine was I think our best ever. (High praise indeed - well done George). The wide range of topics from lot's of contributors was super. I think it is a master stroke by George to rope in his wife, Pauline, to take pictures and help out - think of the preservation of brownie points that must result. At least she knows that most of the time he spends on his pc is not looking at dodgy web sites.
The contributions of our special investigator were interesting. Some good spots. The anagrams were quite a challenge - I needed the entry list to work them out. I hear that our special investigator is not always the same person and that George has a team working on it. I have been sworn to secrecy as to their identities. I think they are planning some major exposure in the next edition and George is concerned that there is a danger of reprisals.
