As you may have noticed from the class website I have now sold Barcelona Bob to Alan Howie Wood.

While I enjoyed sailing Bob, I was suffering increasing levels of pain due to a sailing inflicting hip injury. Following consultation with the Physiotherapist and the Specialist they advised that I will need an operation, and 6-months away from sailing to fully recuperate. Given that the 6-months will wipe out the 2012 season, and I would be too tempted to go sailing if the boat was at the club, I decided to find Bob a home that will use and love him.

Thank you all for my warm welcome into the fleet. I had a fantastic time at the nationals and Grafham. Having sailed many different classes, this was one of the friendliest, and I would fully recommend that others join the biggest single handed catamaran fleet in the UK.

I have no future sailing plans at the moment, so maybe one day I will be back in a 15.

Thanks for the words of wisdom and encouragement you have freely given me in my short time sailing.

Heres hoping that we shall oneday see out in the 15 again.
