Just a word to comment on our results. The chart of results were available daily on this website thanks to Martin Searle, who not only took part in the racing but spent many hours late in the days entering the results into his system for calculating and displaying the results. This is a feat achieved only by a few of the top classes and clubs in the Country. It was particularly tricky on the Sunday evening with many protests held over until the Monday morning ( many of us can remember times when we bragged about how few protests we had as a class - well I reckon that we can no longer do that
). We checked out that the club had an internet connection, but we did not think to ask if the club had a printer and it is for this reason that we could not hand out copies of the results in the presentation. So our results were published to the world on our website sometime before the prizegiving
