Thanks to all at Oxford for a great day out at a superb new venue :D Most memorable and what a great turnout - well played all.
Welcome to Stuart McBeath in his first TT - hope we'll see you again soon.
Cheers

Like the mug. It was put straight to use and is a good memento/conversation piece.

Summary of Race 2. Sorry, no music. Could be of some interest to protagonists (some captioned). Intended as self observation - errors noted, but comments (polite) welcomed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jScVEims ... e=youtu.be

Apologies for one clip of boats rounding mark 2 on the second lap has found its way in between two clips of the rounding of mark 3. Order is the same, I believe, it just looks a bit odd  .

Am compiling a list.

All looks very calm on your boat. Presume drugs are involved.

Ha-ha! Does your list include "It's best not to go backwards after the one minute signal"?
Edited out the less calm bits.

Hi Stew,
Any outlook on the race report? The pictures were good. :D We must get Liam the details to post them on the Sprint 15 gallery. I'm embarrassed that we only ever show 10 year old pictures on our Sprint 15 website  .

Hi Robert,

Just watched your video. It looked very light wind. The video seemed to go on for days - did you really all take 6 days, from Saturday 7th to Friday 13th, to finish?

Missed you at Oxford, George - sorry you couldn't make it (insults are always better first hand). Only managed to cut the video down by two thirds as I insisted on including every tack and gybe (jibe?) plus as many other close quarters boats as possible (so that someone - not me - might be helped to write a report).
Nice of you to respond to my invitation to comment  .
And yes, the editing did take as long as you suggest as I had to learn how to use the software again plus watch the race about a hundred times, or so it seemed :o .

Robert -
I enjoyed the film of the race, as did my fellow passenger on the 7:29 to Waterloo! A good edit.

Apologies for the wrong date by the way, George. It took me ages to twig as I didn't even check it. I think 13 crept in during one of the "saves" of the work or due to general senility (not that such is an invitation for advantageous jibes - not that you'd take any notice) I'm sure you know what I mean.
:!: AH! Just remembered  The title is as intended and refers to Dec 2013 - but you knew that anyway - right?

Then Martin can put a link in our event report which takes us to the full results showing both races which is much better that just the final sequence. :D
