1825 for sale at RYA Dinghy Show

Post by George Love »

My cherished boat, 1825, will be taking pride of place on the Sprint 15 stand at this year's RYA Dinghy Show on 5-6 March. It is for sale at an asking price of £2250.00 and as representative of a good quality second hand 15 at a reasonable price. Anyone interested? Note I'm offering free delivery to UK mainland address.
Here's the details which will also be published in the 'Buy & Sell' and as will appear on the stand.
SPRINT 15 - Sail No. 1825 (1995 year of manufacture)
Details and Specification:
-sail no. 1825 (original “Techno” model)
-original measurement certificate dated 11-03-95
-3 owners from new
-regularly maintained with all class legal parts regardless of cost
-ready for racing, cruising or fun sailing
-2 mainsails (1 original green/pink livery/1 plain white-use only at racing events and still crinkly)
-quick adjust battens
-1 jib (original green livery) with furler
-2 piece mast
-good trampoline
-performance downhaul
-sport kit (jib blocks, trapeze, etc.)
-adjustable tiller bar

I'm selling it for one reason only - I've splashed out and bought a new one (2019)! :D
Cheers

Can somebody please buy his sodding boat. His advert is taking up three quarters of the for sale page.

Just to confirm a change of plan -
1825 will NOT be on the stand now. Instead 2019 will be (which is my new steed).
1825 is still for sale - see 'Buy and sell' on this website

Do not know why there is a change of plan, but the second hand Dart 18s for sale at the last 2 shows generated a fair bit of interest for the class, looking very very cheap against all the new monohulls, so possibly something to look at again next year? plus they raised a fair bit for the class association :-)

Hi Sean. Our plan for this year was to display a used boat which is for sale, but for various reasons it had to be shelved in the last 10 days or so.

1825 delivered to TBYC today and now in the hands of her new helm, Alan Grant. Alan- I hope you have much pleasure in sailing her and hope to see you on the water when I next visit in the summer.
A donf! :D :D 1825 will be in good company with the TYBC fleet.
