Hi Everyone,

Looking forward to seeing you all and competing again, I've been trying to get back every year since 2008 but this is the first time it's all come together! It's been a while since I've been on a 15 so I'm hoping not to embarrass myself too much.

Hi Guys

Erlings going to be stuck on the IOW this weekend because of all the activity surrounding the America's cup in Portsmouth.
So any one going to Thorpe Bay this weekend who wants to enter the Nationals can give me their entry and I'll forward it on to him, so you'll still get the discount.

Regards
Gordon

It is nice to see that we are getting a good number of new UK built boats taking part at our Nationals (2016, 2017, 2019, 2020, 2021). One noticeable exception is 2018. Is Paul really relegated to 458 or has Erling not updated it in the database? Hopefully 2018 will come to make the running flush. :D :D :D :D

2018 will be there. Sophia (aged 8 ) has asked if she can helm. Not too sure about that at the moment!

She won and you were sixth on Sunday. I think you should let her.

Hi All,
Unfortunately i cant make the Nationals this year I shamefully  will be sailing the A class nationals at Rutland SC so I took the easy option .
The good news is the A class will be sold after, I can only sail one boat at a time S15 :D
Have a Great race, I`ll see you at Grafham and the winter series

I have just uploaded the Sailing Instructions.

Note, not the usual start finish line.

Also the Number 3 flag to show course 2 :?

Apparently it might change.

It could be flag 1, the Japanese national flag and flag 3, vertical stripes like a European country flag I can't remember, are different compared to flag 2, another dot on a dark background. If your myopic, colour blind or the flag sticker on your boat has faded, it may be difficult to distinguish 1 from 2!!

Yes, they are definitely more distinct. I think it is because they took out course 2 though.

However our class flag could be the stretched Japanese flag so I don't what "Code Flag 1" is going to be.

Erling will know. He's really hot on flags.

The changing rooms are across the road in the old sailing club.

Cars must be moved out of the Events compound after dropping off - and parked across the road, in the club car park or public car park next to Plas Heli and the beach access.
