This might be of use to some. Like David.

I is yellow with a back circle - round the ends (as mentioned in report)
U is red and white quarters - disqualified if over the line in last minute (as happened in reality)
Black flag - same as U but you cannot restart the race if there is a general recall

Since the Uniform flag is not in the rules of sailing or the SIs, you had to watch the Olympics to know what it meant.

Hi everyone,
thank you for a great event! Really hoping to make it next year but, if not, I'll definitely be there in 2018 for some Cornish sailing.

In the meantime, it took a while but Cindy has uploaded some photos, she says she hopes she managed to get everyone:

Well done Dave Groom for doing a great job on the National's report.

And to Cindy & Gabriel for posting those terrific HQ photographs, we all appreciate those.

Thanks

Since nobody could be bothered to send me a copy I copied and pasted from http://www.yachtsandyachting.com/news/191994

I took the liberty of letting the truth get in the way of my version and corrected some of the appalling spelling and grammar.

A for content
A* for creative writing
D for spelling
E for grammar
F for checking facts
G for not mentioning the practice race more

Fabulous photos - thanks to everyone for taking them and uploading them. Great way to relive a fantastic weekend. The sight of George doing a handstand on the boat won't leave me in a hurry.....

Special thanks to Cindy & Gabriel for the excellent photographs, they really are great pictures - Many thanks.

David - for the Mac, I just use ctrl "click" and "download the image as". Have not worked out a way of getting them into i-Photo yet.

I have only just noticed - being dim, that the fantastic photos are by a larger number of talented photographers than previous stated: - Cindy Chung, Pauline Love, Yvonne Pike, Rosy Snell and Brigitte McKenna - Thank you to all of you and the ones I still may have missed.
