Ok now we are getting way to techy I thought we were a sailing class association rather than an IT R & D group. Some of us are not as IT literate and just want to use and see our race. On the basis I have not been able to view my uploads tells me I need BASIC help. HELP :? !!!!!!!!!!

Seems to be working now. I just uploaded my Sunday afternoon track again can finally see it when I log into the RaceQS website.

I had to enter most of my boat details again, and there's a small bug there because it wouldn't accept the full SCRHS rating of 1.397, it would only take 1.3. Not a problem though - rating is not very interesting to us fleet racers anyway.

I recorded Monday's sail on my Garmin bike computer which as well as being waterproof has much better battery life than my phone. Just popped it in a drybag in one of the lockers. I can easily do that with an external battery anyway to give plenty of battery life to last all day :-)

Meanwhile you can watch Dave Warnock and me racing in race 2 here: http://labs.strava.com/flyby/viewer/#75 ... vb2LPVa2Sw

Race 3: http://labs.strava.com/flyby/viewer/#75 ... P32LPVa2Sw

And a few more of us on Day 2: http://labs.strava.com/flyby/viewer/#75 ... wP3LEqb8Cw - that's less interesting because the others are not Sprint 15s or necessarily on the same course.

Ignore everything else and just note that for a short while I was ahead of Liam in race 3 ;-)

I'll have to get to the point where I can split the races into different files.

Anyway I had a great time, thanks everyone.
