Instow sailors here?

Hi,

We are spending a few days holiday near Bideford from Monday 27th March (our van is having rear seats, a floor, leisure battery and usb sockets fitted at ww.camperliners.co.uk ).

Any Sprint 15 sailors from Instow on here?

We want to bring our Sprint 15 #2008 down on the van roof and store in the dinghy park (we will be bringing the caravan and staying at a farm site above Instow). I've sent an email to the info email address to check as when I was there yesterday the dinghy park looked full to bursting.

Just wondering how many hours of tide is the slipway accessible and practical for sailing (low tide that week starts at about 2pm). What is the area like for Sprint 15 sailing? Any recommendations?

A quick update.

We got a quick and helpful response from the Club.

Sadly the tide restrictions and the tide times next week rule out sailing from Instow next week, unless we fit navigation lights

Sorry your plans did not work out this time - but have you considered capturing some of your previous exploits to go into the Association magazine? It would make a great read and George Love (editor) is looking for materials for the next edition.
