where do you sail out of in the 'Kong?
I get over there a couple times a month. We used to stay at the Excelsior, by the Noon Gun, but are now back in Mongkok at the Langham.

Hi - sailing from Lantau Boat club in Discovery Bay. #1975 is last remaining 15 there but several 18s, lots of Hobie 16s and F16s/F18s.

I had a great time sailing my 15 at LBC from 2001- 2004. I had 1962 FREDDIE, and the sister boat 1963 was sailed by Deborah Fu. Both were imported new from the uk in late 2001. 1975 arrived about a year or so later, again imported new from the UK, by Nina Schulz Matter. Sadly 15 sailing declined after I returned to the UK, though a few years back LBC member Gabriel Kicks had some good fun in 1400. 1963 subsequently returned to the uk, and is on the race circuit. Good to hear that 1975 has found a good home, and is hopefully being used. Last time I saw her, a couple of years back, and she didnt look in a good state. Cheers Keith
Next time I am back in HK, Feb 2018 I ll comeover to LBC.

Re: #1975**

Hi everyone,
I’m the new owner of Dart 15 #1975! I bought it from James Ford, who really took excellent care of her. The main, jib, and trampoline are all in great shape. I’ve been working on freeing up the rudders, which were a bit stuck due to salt – still planning to replace the starboard rudder blade if needed.

I took #1975 out for a sail a few days ago, and she performed beautifully! Managed to hit 13 knots with just the main on an 11-knot wind afternoon.

Cheers,
Patrick
