Royal Western Plymouth TT - 20th and 21st July

Post by Jenny Ball »

Hi All

Next TT is on 20th and 21st July at Royal Western in Plymouth. A welcome return following a very successful first event there last year - and an opportunity for the local fleet of youngsters to give us all a good run for our money.

Don't forget Windsport are holding their Multi-hull regatta immediately afterwards "down the road" in Falmouth - so why not make a proper holiday of it?!

I have the NOR, SIs and Entry Form but not entirely sure when our webmaster will be able to upload them. And the forum does not allow me to attach pdf files.

So let me know if you are considering coming and I will email them all to you!

But its six races over two days - first starts are 12 noon on Sat and 10:30am on Sun and a £30 entry fee inc. one parking space and boat space.

I thought the locals on this side of Devon sailed the right way with just one sail?

Jon and Nigel will also be joining us from Marconi. Nigel is already there on some excuse about "work". Jon is leaving stupid o clock on Friday morning. I will take my chances with the Friday traffic. See you there, some time!

Been a bit busy with work, Nationals and our local Cadet Week - plus the Webmaster is a bit too busy to be posting events stuff.

However a race report and the results has now been sent out in the latest e-newsletter this evening.

And hopefully Liam will get a chance to post them on the website in the fullness of time. Pauline Love also took some pictures which will also be shared in due course.

Champagne sailing conditions for those who made the trip to Plymouth - what a fabulous place to sail.
