Hi folks, It's me again after more information. I find this the best place to contact the experts Bobs a fountain of knowledge on all things Dart 15, He has pointed me in the right direction many times. Iv'e been a 15er for just a year but enjoying every minute of it. Can't wait for March to start again.
Now the question, theres a guy in Falmouth selling used 15 Mains for ?350 says their 1 -2 months old Whats wrong with them? Are they not Class approved?
all answers will be gladly recieved.

Main Sails [Bob]

Beats me - why don't you ask him? It may be something like the Cat Clinic (now Windsport) selling of some sails which have just been used for training.
Ask him if they are the proper Dart 15 sails made by Hyde. You could get him to tell you the seriel number written on the tack of the sail. You could then call Hyde to see when they made it and what sailcloth they used.

Cheap Main Sails [Bob/Keith]

Bob/Keith replied:

Keith Bartlett sent me this message:
"This is indeed Brian Phipps (the Windsport proprietor), who has just spent 10 days out here at Hong Kong doing Cat instructor training- he bought some slightly used sails out for us at ?330".
So they look pukka and it is a good deal.
