Visitors come to enjoy the safe swimming and beaches at Shanklin
If you like walking the Island is famous for its footpath walks and from
the club you have some good cliff paths.

Alternative Wight Link Ferry Option [Paul Tanner]

Further to the message posted by Chris we have managed to arrange a similar deal with Wight Link that is less restrictive on the travel timing .

You can travel at any time ( subjest to availability ) from Wednesday 3rd July until Tuesday 9th July .

The Rate is confirmed as follows :

1. Return Fare for Car , Driver and up to 3 passengers with Dart 15 on the Roof ( Booked as overheight Vehicle ) ?45.00

2. Return Fare for Car , Driver and up to 3 passengers with towed trailer up to 5.5 mtres ( also booked as Overheight ) ? 75.00

An additional passenger at Wight Link standard rate.

The reference for booking is " Shanklin Sailing Club Dart 15 Competition SSC " Booking Contact Phone is 08705827744.

This has been arranged with Janet Saville Head of Marketing at Wight Link ref letter dated 20th June 2002.

This may be useful or at least another option for the ferry.
