Are we going to Whistable this year so we can beat George Carter as I see the Thames River police cautioned Tracy Edward's Maiden for doing over the 8 Knots speed limit and I thought I would give them Georges sail number.

Erling - What are you saying about my boy?
I trust that if you manage to get him arrested
by the Thames River Police you will be setting
up a suitable fund to get him bailed out?!!!

George (Stephen) replied:

George Carter needing to be bailed out? Which dastardly D15er would fill his hulls with water to slow him down? Perhaps one who wanted him not to be caught for speeding?

But I think Whitstable is out of the jurisdiction of the Thames River Police, which is not to say that Whitstable (like many seaside local authorities) don't impose an inshore speed limit (quite possibly of 8 knots), and have effective means of policing it.

Let's hope that we get sufficient wind to exceed 8 knots.
