I am trying to get away for a week at the end of October/early November.

Can anyone recommend somewhere, short haul, where I can get the last of the sun and spend the week sailing a dart (or similar)? No kids required!!!

Unfortunately I am not a millionaire like some on this forum. Mentioning no names (Simon!!). Bellos Beach, Corfu looks lovely but damn its expensive!!!

Any other offerings?

Thanks for your reply Bob.

I was hoping for somewhere a little more 'exotic' but hey it is going to take me as long to drive to Grafham as it would to fly to the South of France so yeah why not.

Will I need sun cream or maybe goose grease!!!

Cheers

Nigel

Ha ha - if only!!! I'd certainly have a DART with more than a 2 digits in it's sail number if that were the case!

Talking of which has anyone got a Dart with a lower sail number than 55 ??

Regards,

Simon.

Nigel,
you just might make the end of season at Wildwind holidays in Vassiliki on the Greek Island of Lefkas. They are on www.wildwind.co.uk. I have just returned from a week there and it was a good holiday. They specialise in catamaran sailing and have a lot of kit. The downside is they are Hobie Cats. The upside is the winds are consistent and the water is warm. It cost me ?600 for the week which included flight, transfer to Vassiliki and a basic room with shower / toilet. Tuition is also included in the price.
regards
Pat
