Sail Numbers [Dartful Codger 3]

Hi Chris
I think the Laser Centre / Performance Sailcraft are the only people likely to hold these records, so you will probably just have to be patient.
The only other help I can give is that I believe the hull serial numbers start with 1S for Port and 2S for Starboard, and not 15 and 25 . Also I would expect the other 4 digits to be consecutive, and therefore it is possible that the Starboard hull 2S 1600 is a later replacement i.e. One would otherwise have expected it to be 2S 1339. Given that Dart 15s were never made at more than 100 /year, it looks like the Starboard hull is at least 3 years newer than the Port one - not necessarily a bad thing, but in determining the original sail number applicable, it is probably better to quote the 'lower' Port hull reference 1S 1338.
N.B. I trust you are ringing the NEW Laser Centre number at Long Buckby, Northants.
Hope this helps

Not a hope from the Laser Centre.
Try writing to Tim Dieu de Bellefontaine (see contacts list) and asking him nicely.
Don't bother if you are not a member of the Dart 15 Association.
