A lot of effort has put in to try and secure the best ferry deals with a modecum of success, due to it being one of their busiest periods. Final offers and Lepe Beach Option below.
White Link (Portsmouth to Ryde and Lymington to Yarmouth) - No discount

Red Funnel (Southampton to East Cowes) - Car and boat on trailer up to 6 metres, driver and 3 passengers ?73. Double the boats up for an even better deal!!
Times of discount - 12 noon onwards on Wednesday 21st, Thursday 22nd. Friday 23rd anytime untill 12 noon and then 21oohrs untill midnight. Saturday 24th anytime until 0650hrs, returning on Monday 26th May 1600hrs onwards.

Lepe Beach Option - Leave cars and trailers in Lepe Country Park car park (just east ob Beulie entrance) for ?3.80 a day, paid in full on the 1st day. Trailers should be free if tucked away. Gates are closed and locked at dusk. Be ready and rigged by 10.30hrs Sat, for Club RIB to escort you across the Solent and carry your luggage and wife etc. Repeat the process for the return after the prize giving on Monday.
Confirm this requirement on the entry form or contact me for futher info - details and entry form in Latest Dart 15 Mag

I hope the attraction of coming to the Island outweights any inconveinience and aadditional costs. Entries confirmred so far are encouraging, with 11 boats making the journey from Instow alone, Shanklin have a large no and of course are own fleet where we should get a very high percentage from the 30 in the boat park.

The Red Funnel Phone number [Bob]

Bob replied:

I cracked it. We got the code wrong in both the magazine and on the web site. The right number to call to book the Red Funnel Ferries is:
02380 334010
Sorry about any inconvenience
