The Beaver Guys do not know what to do. It is not possible to change the arrangements and inform everyone who might be contemplating attending. Some people are depending on it to complete the series (5 races).
I have discussed it around and the proposal is as follows:
1) They should run the event for whoever can attend.
2) We will modify the number of events to count in the series from 5 to 4. Thus travellers who cannot attend because of the lack of petrol will not be penalised by missing qualifying for the series.
This seems to me to be the most equitable solution.
