Hi,
I am currently in the market for a 2nd hand Dart15 but the majority seem to be without a trailer. I intend to sail at Worthing but wish to do the travellers, nationals etc. So far the only place I have found that can supply a new trailer is Hayling Trailers at a cost of ?650! Does anyone know of any alternative (ie cheaper!) suppliers?

Hi Paul
A very good friend of mine has just started building catamaran trailers, and has a sample already built especially for a Dart 15 , utilising just 2 straps to secure the boat , going fore and aft over the beams, rather than across the hulls .
It will certainly be worth a call to him to discuss your requirements . His name is Phil Neal (Ex.D15 sailor) and his 'phone number is 01909 484391 , details should also soon be appearing on the web-site .
Cheers Paul Smith

West Mersea trailers do a Dart 18 trailer complete for ?507, and perhaps the Dart 15 is a little less (see website http://freespace.virgin.net/trailer.sales/dypri.htm).
