Tips,
My old boat had velcro on the the toe straps and buckles, no problem.New boat,a loop at the end of toe strap and rope.I am having problems keeping straps tight, as soon as I use them they loosen off.
New Jib very noisy upwind, can't get rid what ever I do, tight or loose.

Toe Straps & jib [Bob]

Hi Phil,
Several of us had the leach of the jib flutter. 3 of us from Grafham have all returned the jib to Hyde who recut the leach slightly and stopped it. If you contact the Laser Centre they pay the postage, etc.
Most of us prefer the toe staps without Velcro. It is a knack to string them up to get them tight, but once you know how to lace them up they are much better.
Cheers
Bob
PS Done any good cartoons lately?
I'll show you at Marconi (or the next event you attend)
Cheers
