Erling's down the pan

Post by Bob Carter »

I see from the Y&Y web site that the Shanklin Sailing Club has started sailing again after it's winter lay-off. What's more I see that Erling has started the Preston points series with a distingushed 7th place. Any excuses you would like to share with us, Erling?

I'm shaken!

(I was stirred, but then I thought "No, I'm shaken!")

The 60th anniversary celebrations have already started. This will be Erling's year of the hangover!

Yes I hear he is not going to make the trip to Thorpe Bay because of the big birthday. Trouble is, he is under the thumb (or the threat of being under the knife if he does not obey her indoors). He admits that there is nothing HE would rather do on his birthday than to go sailing with his chums at Thorpe Bay. He is required to stay at home and have a thoroughly miserable time doing something not involved with sailing....................
