Datchet 8 Feb

Post by Paul Craft »

Hi All

Just a quick reminder, the next event is at Datchet Sailing Club on the 8 Feb.

This will be the first time we have sailed at Datchet so it will be interesting to demonstrate what the 15 fleet can do.

I should receive the notice of race this week which will be posted on the web site.

Thanks
Paul

49 knots gusts forecast at the moment. Right up Kevin and Paul's street.

Sorry guys, 40 knots is too much for me. Am going to hide in bed 'til it all blows over.

Apologies. But likewise. 300 mile drive not sensible for a potentially non-sailable day.

CANCELLED Datchet 8 Feb CANCELLED

Post by Paul Craft »

Hi All

After a discussion with Datchet Sailing Club , the race officer and the Contender fleet is has been decided that the Datchet event this Saturday has been cancelled due to the high winds that are forecast.

Could I ask you to pass this message onto to anyone who you think may be planning on attend.

The good news is Datchet are really keen to have us back and as such they are trying to rearrange the date, as soon as they have managed to rearrange the date I will put it on the web site.

Thanks

Paul :(
