A BIG 'shout out' to David for providing a simply stunning example of a used boat as the centrepiece of the stand. His 2020 championship winning boat looked 'just out of the box' despite its 20 years since manufacture and, had it been for sale, it could have been sold many times over! What a great advert and one which clearly engaged the visitors. Definitely had a "WOW' factor!!

The show provided other opportunities to chat with Tom & Alex from Windsport as they take over the reins from Brian and Cookie. A number of interesting initiatives were raised to be developed and discussed in more detail in the coming months. Look out for more on this later

So, another BIG 'thank you' to all those who took the time to respond to the survey. It is much appreciated.
There's a lot of great information to digest when the full findings are received and your committee will be looking at this in detail to make as many improvements as possible. But the headline news is that you gave us a Member Satisfaction Index of 87.5 
By all accounts that is very good indeed - but you're committee won't be resting on their laurels!After many years at Ally Pally, the RYA announced yesterday that it is moving the show to the Farnborough Exhibition & Conference Centre next year (just of M3 next to the airport). I hope we'll be there.
