Marconi TT

Post by Daydreamer2040 »

A really big thank you to Marconi sailing club for an excellent Run TT over the weekend. A great turn out of 24 Dart 15. Near perfect sailing conditions ( A bit more breeze would have helped us fuller figure sailors) . A special thanks to Jenny for her excellent communication and organisational skills.
To all the volunteers than made the weekend work so well a big personal thanks. Thank you Nigel for the loan of file and wet and dry for a quick repair.
For Jason who won the event your boat speed and tactical decisions were first class ... Well done.
Looking forward to Rutland TT in May . Hopefully see you all again there.

Cheers ,

May I just echo all of Paul's comments on a truly fabulous weekend at Marconi.
It will live long in the memory of a brilliant time in great company and competition.
Without doubt it was a showcase of what this great class is all about.
Thank you to all at Marconi who worked so hard to deliver the event and 'Well Sailed' Jason - a masterful performance against some of the best sailors in the fleet - a much deserved win.
