We are deeply shocked and saddened to hear that a fisherman lost his life whilst fishing with his son at Draycote this week. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time. Our thoughts are also with the emergency services and colleagues at Draycote Water Sailing Club involved in the search - such a difficult task and thank you for your tireless efforts.
We all go afloat with the expectation that we, and everyone with us, will come safely to shore again. Tragedies like this remind us never to take that for granted. Stay safe everyone.
