IOS Round the Island Race

Hey all
We have only 3 Dart 15 signed up so far, just seeing if anyone else is up for doing the event on their 15 for the Round the Isle of Sheppey Race?

12th August round the cans race
13th August round the whole island

John (my nephew) and I plan to be there but will be on a Dart 18 - John is not old enough to sail this event on his own.

I completed it in the Dart 15 two years ago and its a good boat for the race - and its a good race to do!

Yes I saw, cats generally do well around the island, especially when the wind is blowing from the south.

I have sailed it as a kid in a 420, but unfortunately the rules changed, which is a shame as my eldest son and his friend would love to do it on their NACRA 15. They could do it, but would have to have a dedicated safety boat, hopefully we can sort one out next year for them
